A convicted child sex offender is getting out of prison Tuesday and will be living in Fond du Lac. Assistant police chief Steve Klein says Benjamin Solheim is being released from prison after serving 16 years for possession of child pornography and sexually assaulting a child. Solheim is on extended supervision for the next five years. Klein says Solheim will be living at a residence at 457 Thomas Street. Last week another police issued a notification that another child sex offender, Jacob Schwendimann, had moved to a new location at 19 East Rees Street. Schwendiman served time in prison for multiple child sex offenses.
