A Horicon woman was seriously injured in a two vehicle crash in Dodge County. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says a car failed to stop for a stop sign and was struck by a pickup. The crash happened at about 4:30am today at the intersection where State Highways 28 and 67 and County Highway TW meet in the town of Theresa. The car driver, a 28 year old Horicon woman, was flown by helicopter to the hospital. Two occupants in the pickup were not injured.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
