8-2-17 inmate assaults waupun correctional officer

A Waupun Correctional Institution officer was transported to the hospital after being attacked by an inmate.  Sources told WFDL news officer Brad Waltz was punched in the face by an inmate in the northwest cell hall.  The incident happened shortly after 5:30pm Tuesday.  Waltz was transported to Waupun Memorial Hospital with what were described as minor injuries.  The inmate was subdued with pepper spray.

8-2-17 milwaukee man sentenced in heroin overdose death of oakfield man

A Milwaukee man convicted in the drug overdose death of a Fond du Lac County man is going to prison. 8-2-17 antigo man killed in interstate 41 crash in fdl county

An elderly Antigo man was killed and two people were injured in a two vehicle crash on Interstate 41 south of Fond du lac.  The crash happened shortly after 2pm Tuesday on northbound 41 near Fond  du Lac County Highway B.  An 80 year old Antigo man was killed and two Green Bay men received non life-threatening injuries in the crash.  Fond du Lac Fire chief Pete O’Leary says  the […]

VERONA, Wis. (AP) — A group of Republican legislators has introduced a bill that would allow relax restrictions on wineries and craft breweries.  Reps. Dale Kooyenga, Shannon Zimmerman and Gary Tauchen along with Sen.
