8-22-17 convicted child sex offender getting out of prison tuesday

A convicted child sex offender is getting out of prison Tuesday and will be living in Fond du Lac.  Assistant police chief Steve Klein says Benjamin Solheim is being released from prison after serving 16 years for possession of child pornography and sexually assaulting a child.  Solheim is on extended supervision for the next five years.  Klein says Solheim will be living at a residence at 457 Thomas Street. 8-22-17 fdl man charged with child sex assault

A Fond du Lac man is charged with sexually assaulting a child.  David Santiago Juarez is charged with two counts of first degree sexual assault of a child.  Assistant police chief Steve Klein says Santiago Juarez is accused of sexually assaulting a young girl under the age of 12.  Santiago Juarez is being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail on $50,000 cash bond.
