9-8-17 campbellsport man faces charges following alcohol related crashes

todaySeptember 8, 2017

A Campbellsport man faces multiple charges following two alcohol-related crashes over the Labor Day holiday.  Sheriff’s captain Ryan Waldschmidt says Laquon Spikes crashed his vehicle into a Campbellsport Laundromat, drove away and crashed again on Highway V and Haven Drive. Waldschmidt says deputies were able to track Spikes to a nearby house where he was taken into custody after resisting arrest.  “When we did come in contact with him we learned that after the two crashes he fled to this residence, got into a domestic with his girlfriend before we arrived and we took him into custody but he wasn’t cooperative,”  Waldschmidt told WFDL news.  “We had to use a Taser on him.”  Spikes is being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail.
