The Waupun Fire Department is conducting a live propane training exercise this month. Fire chief B.J. DeMaa says the exercise will be conducted on Monday, September 18th in partnership with the Wisconsin Propane Education and Research Council. DeMaa says training is essential when dealing with the potential hazards associated with propane. The public is invited to view the training session. DeMaa says at times area residents may see flames shooting 20 feet or more into the air.
