An Illinois man involved in a motorcycle crash in Dodge County earlier this month has died from his injuries.   Twenty seven year old William Golliher was injured in the September 2nd crash at the intersection of Dodge County Highways G and FW.  He was pronounced dead Saturday  at UW Hospital in Madison.

The Cost of Living Index for Fond du Lac County has decreased slightly from last quarter  and is below the national average.  Of the four Wisconsin cities that collected cost of living data, the Wisconsin Rapids area is the least expensive at 91.7.   Fond du Lac’s index measured 94.6.  Madison had the most expensive cost of living index in the state at 108.5.  

Fond du Lac Marian University’s Upward Bound Math and Science  program has been renewed for a five year grant of nearly $1.32 million  from the U.S Department of Education.  This grant will allow the University to continue to prepare high school students for a college education, with emphasis on the fields of mathematics and science.  The program will select 62 students from the Fond du Lac and North Fond du […]
