Fond du Lac police are looking for thieves who stole 300 gallons of used cooking oil from the KFC restaurant on North Pioneer Road. The overnight theft was discovered earlier this week by employees who called police. Police say there has been an increase in thefts involving used cooking oil from restaurants to be sold on the black market for bio fuels as an alternative fuel for vehicles.
A Campbellsport man faces multiple charges following two alcohol-related crashes over the Labor Day holiday. The attack of a trucker at a rest stop along Interstate 41 in Dodge County raises questions about safety at the waysides. The trucker was seriously injured in the attack and robbed by what he described as two black males.
