Melissa Fiedler is charged with second degree sexual assault by correctional staff and delivering illegal articles to an inmate. A Fond du Lac woman has died in an apparent accidental drowning. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says 58 year old Tammy Eichhorn drowned in a residential swimming pool on Briar Court in the town of Byron. Rescue personnel were called to the scene about 4:30pm Monday for a report of an unresponsive female in the pool. Resuscitation efforts by paramedics were unsuccessful.
State health officials say the flu season is off to an early start in Wisconsin.
