10-28-17 2nd annual “take back the fright” 5k zombie run/walk

WARNING GET TO SAFETY!!! The Night has been taken by the undead as a deadly virus has spread through the city of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. So many friends and families of this once quiet town are now walking Zombies of the night. The few that are left must constantly run through the city to find and save our fellow citizens that are trapped by these scary Zombies that have placed a Frightful hold on this brave town. Our citizens need us, they need you to Take Back the Fright and Put ASTOP to the spread of this epidemic. Our citizens need your help NOW. They are only 5 kilometers away, held up in a makeshift bunker at Marian University’s Gymnasium. We must get there before it’s too late to lead the Zombies away from the gymnasium and beat the Zombies back to save our people before the Zombies return!
Join ASTOP at our annual Take Back the Fright 5K Zombie Run on October 28th, 2017 at Marian University. Registration begins at 8:30am for the first of the brave. The brave costumed kids will Dash away at 9:30am and the costumed survivalists will make a 5K Run for it at 10am.
EVERYONE IS ENCOURAGED TO DRESS UP IN THEIR BEST HALLOWEEN, SURVIVAL OR ZOMBIE COSTUMES. (no weapons or pets please)

You can sign up to run the Take Back the Fright 5k Zombie run/walk and dress in your best costume. Great fun for the kids, a great experience for the families and a frightfully exciting time for our students and businesses. Teams encouraged–why do it alone? Get your teams together at work, school or home and come up with your awesome team names to add more excitement to this experience. Head on over to www.astop.org/events to register.
Or you can sign up to be a Zombie actor. Visit www.astop.org/events to register; fill out the Zombie actor registration form. This will register you as an actor and a follow up email with specifics will be sent to you. This is a great opportunity for schools, volunteer organizations, individual volunteers or other businesses looking to make a fun impactful difference in our community.
All proceeds will benefit ASTOP. ASTOP is a sexual assault service provider offering treatment, outreach, and prevention, emphasizing hope and connection with self and others. ASTOP provides a link between crisis and recovery. The trained professional staff offers supportive services to survivors of sexual abuse, rape, or incest as well as to their affected family members.
