A fundraiser  is being held this weekend  to help breast cancer mastectomy patients.  Breast cancer survivor Karen Jo Dobyns is organizing the Bags for Bags Plus Scarves fundraiser.  Dobyns says  all of the money raised from the sale of donated scarves and purses will go toward the purchase of a necessities bag with personal care items for mastectomy patients.  Dobyns was diagnosed three years ago with breast cancer.  After undergoing […]

(AP) — Two northern Wisconsin lawmakers are asking a federal judge to reverse his order forcing juvenile prisons to curb their use of solitary confinement, pepper spray and shackles.  Republican Sen. MADISON, Wis. The Fond du Lac County board has granted an Eldorado chicken farmer’s request for compensation after a neighbor dog killed his chickens.  The resident was asking for $840 in compensation after  a dog killed 24 chickens and injured a pet duck.  "They weren't just ordinary chickens, they were show chickens of various exotic breeds,"  county board chairman Marty Farrell told WFDL news.   Farrell says money to pay the farmer will […]
