The Fond du Lac County Medical examiner has confirmed that a Fond du Lac man died from hypothermia after he was found in the Fond du Lac River this week.    Police identified the victim as 57 year old  James C. Pugh.  Pugh  was pronounced dead at St. Agnes  Hospital after he was pulled from the river shortly before 3am Wednesday.   Police were called to an area of the river  at the dead end of John St, for a report of an intoxicated male subject who was in the river.   Assistant police chief Steve Klein says investigators are still trying to determine how Pugh ended up in the river.
