OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — Oshkosh police say a disturbance involving three people resulted in a fatal exchange of gunfire. Authorities say an 18-year-old Appleton man is dead as a result of Sunday night’s shooting. The victim was pronounced dead at a local hospital. A 25-year-old man was treated for a gunshot wound, treated at the hospital and released. Police are looking for the third person involved in the disturbance. Officials say the shooting appears to be an isolated incident.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
