Grab your hats, gloves, coats, and boots as the winter weather season is fast approaching! Winter parking restrictions go into effect on November 15th. On even numbered days starting at 8pm parking is restricted to the even side of the street and restricted to the odd side of the street on odd number days. The restrictions are in effective from November 15 to March 15. Any metered area is still restricted to 60 minutes between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. This ordinance overrides all other on-street parking restrictions where parking is allowed.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
