11-28-17 red kettle campaign and giving tuesday

todayNovember 28, 2017

The biggest fundraiser of the year for the Fond du Lac Salvation Army is underway.  Ron Jacobsen says the Red Kettle campaign goal is $160,000.  There are kettles at 15 locations in Fond du Lac and Jacobsen says there is always a need for volunteers to ring bells.  Meanwhile the Salvation Army is teaming up with Thrivent Member Network for Giving Tuesday.  “They’re going to be matching any private donations that are coming in.  Do its a wonderful way to make your donation to the kettle doubled,”  Jacobsen told WFDL news.  The event is being held at the Salvation Army Thrift store on West Pioneer Road from 10am to 5pm.
