11-15-17 fire damages van dyne banquet hall apartments

11-15-17 governor opposed to ending “america’s dairyland” on wisconsin license plates

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. 11-15-17 lincoln hills inmates attack youth counselors

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Three workers at Wisconsin juvenile prisons were hurt following two separate weekend assaults by inmates. Department of Corrections spokesman Tristan Cook says one employee was hurt in an assault that happened Saturday morning. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Republicans are trying again to exempt rent-to-own businesses from the state's consumer protection act. Rep. Warren Petryk and Sen. Terry Moulton began circulating a bill for co-sponsors Tuesday that would create a new section of statutes that apply specifically to the rent-to-own industry. 11-14-17 fdl school board approves additional money for career construction academy

The Fond du Lac School Board is committing up to $750,000 for a new career construction academy at Fond du lac High school.  At their meeting Monday night the school board agreed to fund an additional $250,000  to the $500,000 already earmarked so construction can start next spring.    Local businesses asked the board for more money after a fundraising effort fell $300,000 short of its goal.  The total project […]

11-14-17 preliminary autopsy results show no signs of foul play in death of infant
