11-2-17 victim identified in fatal i-41 crash

11-2-17 police say fdl man may have died from hypothermia

Fond du Lac police say a Fond du Lac man may have died from hypothermia after he was found in the Fond du Lac River early Wednesday morning.  Assistant police chief Steve Klein says the 57 year old man was pronounced dead at St. Agnes Hospital after he was pulled from the river shortly before 3am.   Klein says an autopsy will hopefully determine if the man died from hypothermia.   Temperatures […]

(AP) — A new survey shows minority, disabled and gay students feel they're having a tougher time on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus.  The school released findings from its first campus climate survey on Wednesday. (AP) — Electric-car manufacturer Tesla would be able to sell its vehicles directly to customers in Wisconsin under a bill circulating in the Legislature.  About 60 Tesla owners offered rides in their vehicles outside the Capitol on Wednesday as part of the push introducing the bill.  Wisconsin law currently prohibits automakers from operating or controlling a car dealership. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A liberal advocacy group filed a federal lawsuit against three top Republicans in the Wisconsin Legislature, alleging they are infringing on the group's free speech rights by blocking it from commenting on their Twitter feeds. One Wisconsin Now filed the lawsuit Tuesday in federal court in Madison. It names Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and state Reps. John Nygren and Jesse Kremer as defendants.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — A judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed by the widow of a man killed by police during a standoff at a Wisconsin motorcycle shop.
