A Fond du lac man who was seriously injured when his pick up collided with a semi-tractor trailer in Dodge County Saturday night has been arrested. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says 56 year old Todd Henke was arrested for OWI 5th offense. Henke was the driver of a pickup that collided with a semi at the intersection of Highways 175 and 28 a mile north of the Village of Theresa. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was flown by helicopter to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the semi was identified as Dean Adelmeyer, 48, Theresa. He was treated and released from an area hospital.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
