12-5-17 high winds topple power lines in fdl county

The Fond du Lac Fire chief is warning residents to stay away from any power lines that may come down because of high winds today.  This morning wires came down across Van Dyne Road, closing the road in both directions for a period of time.  Fire chief Pete O’Leary says if you encounter downed lines, always assume they are live, and dial 9-1-1.

12-5-17 legislature’s clerks took four sexual misconduct complaints

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Legislature's clerks' offices say they've received four sexual harassment complaints over the last decade.  Assembly Chief Clerk Patrick Fuller said Monday that his office received one complaint in 2014 and one in 2017.
