Authorities say a Fond du lac woman was killed in a one vehicle rollover crash in Fond du Lac County Thursday morning. The victim has been identified as 64 year old Dianne Majerus of Fond du lac. The Sheriff’s Office says before moving to Fond du Lac Majerus had been a longtime resident of Campbellsport. Rescue personnel were called to the scene on Highway K north of Highway 45 in the town of Empire for a report of a car that had traveled off the road and overturned, pinning the driver in the vehicle. Majerus was pronounced dead at the scene.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
