The Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner has ruled a Fond du Lac woman died from a medical condition prior to a rollover crash last week. Sixty four year old Dianne Majerus of Fond du Lac was pronounced dead at the scene on Highway K north of Highway 45 last Thursday morning. The medical examiner said there was no evidence of trauma to the body as a result of the crash. Sheriff’s captain Ryan Waldschmidt says the death will not be counted as a traffic fatality.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
