todayJanuary 25, 2018

The Fond du Lac County Health Department is encouraging all residents have their home tested for radon.  January is national radon action month.  Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says says long term exposure to high levels of radon is a risk for lung cancer.  You can pick up a radon test kit at the health department for $10.  A 2016 survey through the  UW-Fond du Lac Extension Office found that eleven municipalities in Fond du lac County have average radon levels that exceed the EPA’s safety limit.
