TOWN OF HARMONY, Wis. (AP) — Authorities in southern Wisconsin say a woman's body was found frozen next to her car outside her rural home.  Rock County sheriff's detectives are investigating but foul play is not suspected in the death of 52-year-old Lorie Hanson.  Capt. 1-19-18 fdl man bound over for trial in connection with shooting incident

A Fond du Lac man arrested following a shooting  incident last fall has been bound over for trial.   Antino Jones waived his preliminary hearing Thursday afternoon on charges of  attempted first degree intentional homicide.   Jones  is accused of shooting a 31 year old Fond du Lac man in the stomach at a residence on the corner of  Western Avenue and Oak Street…across the street from the jail.  The victim was […]

1-19-18 record low unemployment rate

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Preliminary estimates show unemployment in Wisconsin reached a record low in December.  The state Department of Workforce Development released figures Thursday that show the unemployment rate in December was 3 percent. That's a record for December and matches the lowest rate on record.  The rate was down 0.2 percentage points from November. Copenhagen Club Culture Box To Lose Government Funding

Nightlife in Copenhagen is set for a heavy blow as one of the city's main clubs, Culture Box, will lose a substantial amount of funding from 2017.
