1-17-18 state supreme court fundraising

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Rebecca Dallet has raised more than challengers Sauk County Circuit Judge Michael Screnock and attorney Tim Burns in the race for Wisconsin Supreme Court. Dallet reported raising nearly $496,000 through the end of 2017, which includes $200,000 of her own money loaned to the campaign. Burns raised more than $258,000 while Screnock reported bringing in just over $104,000.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Scott Walker raised $3.7 million the last six months of 2017, putting him ahead of his Democratic field of challengers but behind what he did four years ago. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Assembly members and employees will have to attend mandatory sexual harassment training every two years under a resolution the chamber overwhelmingly adopted Tuesday, the same day a lawmaker accused of sexual misconduct returned to the chamber.  The Republican-controlled Assembly passed the resolution 92-0 with no discussion. The city of Fond du Lac’s water payment portal  is back on line,  about a month after a local credit union  notified the city that the system had been hacked.  On December 12 the credit union said about 25 customers that used the portal had reported fraud on their credit cards.  City officials say as of January 15, the city’s credit card processor had not received any reports of compromise […]
