A Watertown man convicted of child sex crimes is going to prison. Twenty year old Stephen Buske, was sentenced to six years in prison and six years extended supervision for sexual assault of a child, exposing a child to harmful materials. Investigators say Buske coerced multiple underage victims into sending him sexually explicit photos and sexually assaulted a 14 year old girl with whom he had exchanged lewd photos. He admitted to downloading child pornography from the internet of girls as young as 9 years old.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
