The Fond du Lac County Fair has announced that Jon Pardi will be performing at the Fair this summer. Tickets for the July 20 performance will go on sale February 12. The country music star is known for his hits that include “She Ain’t In It,” “Head over Boots,” and “Dirt On My Boots.” The fair will be held July 18 to 22.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
