2-7-18 governor walker goes “between the lines”

todayFebruary 7, 2018

Wisconsin governor Scott Walker says he’s never been more concerned about an election than he is this year.  With president Donald Trump’s approval rating below 40 percent and Democrats grabbing a  traditionally conservative  state senate seat last month , Walker admits he’s worried about a Democratic wave in November.  “I think this is going to be the toughest election I’ve ever had,”  Walker told AM 1170s Between the Lines program.  “It will be as tough or tougher than the recall. (election)   “There’s a group of voters who are angry and motivated.  I say we’ve got to counter that not with anger but with optimism and organization.”   Walker says Republicans have to get the message out that Wisconsin’s economy is strong and unemployment is at a record low with Republicans in  control of the state capitol.
