2-14-18 state supreme court candidate tim burns goes “between the lines”

todayFebruary 14, 2018

Madison attorney Tim Burns says he wants to change the Wisconsin Supreme Court.  Burns is one of three candidates on the February 20 Primary election ballot next Tuesday.  Burns says he is running because he wants Wisconsinites to have a fair playing field with massive concentrations of corporate wealth and power.  “That’s what we need on this court right now.  Someone to stand up to big business, concentrated corporate wealth and special interests,”  Burns told AM 1170s Between the Lines program.  Burns says right-wing extremists have tried to commit a fraud on the country when they accuse judges of legislating from the bench.  “Its hypocrisy because the right-wing is quick to strike laws they don’t agree with,”  Burns said.  Burns says he has the experience and values that are needed on the state high court.  Burns made the comments on AM 1170s Between the Lines program.
