2-22-18 nfdl school superintendent open to grant program to fund armed secuirty guards in schools

The North Fond du Lac School superintendent says a proposed grant program to pay for armed guards in schools may be a good idea.   Under the bill schools could receive state Justice Department grants to pay for armed security officers in schools with grades 5-12.  North Fond du Lac superintendent Aaron Sadoff says creating a grant program  would not take money away from education.  “We see some movement and we see our legislators looking at how can we start to look at solutions?   Sadoff says there are some metropolitan areas where security guards are needed.
