2-13-18 fdl police investigating reports of gunshots fired in city

Fond du Lac police are investigating several reports of gunshots fired in the city Monday night.  Police say no injuries or property damage was reported.  The first report came in shortly before 10:30pm of shots apparently fired from a vehicle in the 500 block of 4th St.   Officers found handgun shell casings in the street but did not locate any suspects or a suspect vehicle.  Initial information from witnesses indicates […]

2-13-18 waupun prison tower overnight staffing to end next week

2-13-18 elderly hit and run driver arrested in waupun

An elderly Waupun woman has been arrested following a hit and run crash.   Waupun Deputy Police Chief, Jeremy Rasch says the 88 year old woman struck a parked vehicle in the 100 block of East Jefferson Street Friday afternoon and left the scene.  "One of our officers was able to locate her.  Her vehicle was severely damaged,"  Rasch told WFDL news.  Rasch says the incident raises the question about whether […]

TWO RIVERS, Wis. (AP) — A coroner says a man and a woman from eastern Wisconsin have died from complications of the flu.
