CONOVER, Wis. (AP) — Authorities say a snowmobiler was killed in a weekend crash in northern Wisconsin. A new AAA study shows that one in 10 U.S. highway crashes is the result of drowsy driving. State AAA spokesman Nick Jarmuscz says that’s as much as eight times more than what previous federal estimates have indicated. One person received minor injuries in a snowmobile accident on Lake Winnebago. The incident happened shortly after 2pm Saturday near Roosevelt Park. The MT Motorsports snowmobile drag races are part of the Fishing Has No Boundaries Bash fundraiser and is not affiliated with the Sturgeon Spectacular festival. The snowmobile operator reported he had lower back pain following the crash. The scene was cleared before 3pm.
