2-10-18 nfdl man pleads not guilty in connection with fatal crash

A North Fond du Lac man charged in connection with a fatal crash has pleaded not guilty.   At an arraignment hearing this week  Travis Wollersheim entered the pleas  to  two counts of homicide by negligent  operation of a vehicle.   He is accused of rear-ending a car that had slowed on Interstate 41 in a construction zone in Fond du lac in June of last year, killing two passengers in the […]

A West Bend man convicted of the theft of items from storage units in Washington, Dodge and Fond du lac counties is going to prison.   Arnold Carlson was sentenced in Fond du Lac County Circuit Court to three years in prison followed by a year and a half of extended supervision. 2-10-18 sexual assault kits-untested

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The state Department of Justice's efforts to analyze thousands of untested sexual assault kits generated 20 DNA hits during the last half of 2017.  A DOJ report to the U.S. Bureau of Justice Assistance indicates testing yielded DNA profiles that match 20 known offenders in the FBI's CODIS database, including 11 who weren't listed as a suspect in the case.  The report didn't name the offenders.
