(AP) — A University of Wisconsin System regents committee has approved increasing nonresident and graduate tuition at three schools next year.  The regents' finance committee approved the increases Thursday, setting up a full board vote Friday.  Nonresident undergraduate tuition at UW-Eau Claire would increase by $355 to $15,636. 2-9-18 watertown man injured in snowmobile crash in dodge county

A Watertown man received non life-threatening injuries in a snowmobile crash in Dodge County.   It happened about 4am Thursday on  Hwy. Q near Walton Road.  The Sheriff’s Office says the 27 year old man was operating his snowmobile on the highway and on private property when he entered a plowed field and was thrown from the snowmobile. 2-8-18 oshkosh corp. army contract

OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — Oshkosh Corp. says it has been awarded an Army contract worth $476 million to build the next generation of medium tactical vehicles. A statement from the company says there's no cap on the number of vehicles the Army may purchase. The vehicles will be used to support combat missions, in relief efforts and logistics and supply operations.

2-8-18 brandon native killed in car crash in sw wisconsin

A Fond du Lac County native has died in a car crash in southwestern Wisconsin.  Twenty two year old  Chase Galle was killed in the crash this month in Vernon County returning to his home in Platteville from National Guard Duty.  Galle was raised in Brandon and graduated from Waupun High School in 2013.
