The Fond du Lac STEM Institute ‘s Odyssey of the Mind team has earned an invitation to the World Finals. The state championship team is comprised of Mason McGrath, Kennedy George, Jared Ott, Nathan Ott, Ruby Riegert, and Zoe Perkins. The team’s problem, challenged them to create three-dimensional emojis to be used to communicate the life story of a once famous, but now forgotten, emoji. The students will represent Fond du Lac and the state of Wisconsin at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa on May 21 through May 27.
