MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Candidates are lining up to run in a special election for open Wisconsin Senate and Assembly seats. Gov. Scott Walker issued an executive order Thursday scheduling special elections to fill open seats in the 1st Senate District and the 42nd Assembly District. The primary will be May 15 with the general elections June 12. Candidates have until April 17 to file nomination papers.
