3-17-18 fdl st. patricks day parade

Hundreds of people lined Main Street in downtown Fond du Lac Saturday for the annual  St. Patrick's Day parade.   The parade started on the corner of Rees and Main Street traveling south to Veterans Park.  There were 42 entries in this year’s parade.

3-17-18 former u.s. attorney general campaigns for dallet in wisconsin

3-17-18 fdl diversity conference

Learning to be more inclusive and respectful of individual differences is the goal of a one-day conference at UW Fond du Lac this month.  The Anti-Bullying and Celebrate Diversity Institute is free and open to the public.  The conference will engage participants in discussion on topics such as religion, race/ethnicity,  gender, and sexual identity.  The conference will be held on Friday March 30 at the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Former Wisconsin Attorney General Bronson La Follette has died at age 82.   Joyce-Ryan Funeral Home, in Madison, said funeral arrangements for La Follette were being finalized Friday.  La Follette, who passed away Thursday, was first elected attorney general in 1964 and served two consecutive 2-year terms. 3-16-18 attempted murder suspect apprehended in fdl county

BEAVER DAM, Wis. (AP) — Firefighters burned down a Beaver Dam apartment building where a fatal explosion took place last week.  Authorities set a controlled fire Thursday to burn the chemicals that cannot be removed because of their volatility. 3-16-18 funeral services for beaver dam man who died in explosion
