MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Senate Republicans apparently aren't sold on Gov. Scott Walker's school safety legislation.  Walker introduced legislation Thursday designed to enhance campus safety, in part by creating $100 million in new school grants. Another lucky lottery winner in Fond du lac County.  A ticket purchased at the Brandon Store in Brandon matched all five numbers in the Badger 5 drawing on Monday, March 12 to win the $266,000 jackpot.   Monday's winning Badger 5 numbers were 1, 6, 7, 13 and 19.

Brady Buss, an archer for the Fond du Lac School District Archery team and an eighth grader at Sabish Middle School, captured first place in a recent archery competition. 3-15-18 fdl man pleads not guilty to homicide charges

One of two men charged in the shooting death of a Fond du Lac man has pleaded not guilty.   Twenty three year old Jesse Schultz entered the plea to a charge of  first degree intentional homicide at an arraignment hearing in Fond du Lac County Circuit Court Wednesday.  Twenty two year old Devon Neuman earlier pleaded not guilty to the same charge.   Schultz and Neuman are charged in the September […]
