MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A new king cheese has been crowned in Wisconsin.  The winner of the 2018 World Championship Cheese Contest is a hard sheep's milk cheese called Esquirrou. 3-9-18 fatal rollover in fdl county

A one vehicle crash in Fond du lac County has claimed the life of a Madison man.   The crash happened Thursday afternoon on Highway V near Tracks Lane in the town of  Eden.   A preliminary investigation indicates a car was southbound on CTH V when the driver  failed to negotiate a curve and struck an embankment on the east side of V.   The car became airborne and overturned numerous times. 3-9-18 deer tests positive for cwd in washington county

A white-tailed deer from a breeding farm in Washington County has tested positive for chronic wasting disease.  Wisconsin State Veterinarian Dr. Paul McGraw says the National Veterinary Services Laboratory in Ames, Iowa, confirmed the test results.  The buck was born on the 15-acre farm in May 2015.  It was part of a herd of 58 whitetails, along with 13 elk, according to the owner's most recent registration. REEDSBURG, Wis. (AP) — Reedsburg police arrested two 13-year-old students after officials discovered a list of names titled "kill list."   The students were removed from Webb Middle School Wednesday, interviewed by police, arrested and later released to their parents.
