3-5-18 brandon teen charged with child sex assault

A Brandon teenager has been charged with sexually assaulting a young girl.  Seventeen year old James Iverson Jr. is charged with first degree sexual assault of a child and exposing a child to harmful materials.  He is accused of sexually assaulting a four year old girl his mother was babysitting.    Iverson is free on a $10,000 signature bond.   A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 13.

3-5-18 fdl police investigating social media threat targeting fdl high school

Fond du Lac police have stepped up presence at Fond du Lac High School after a threat was made on social media.  The post threatened to shoot up the school.  Principal Matt Steinbarth sent a message to parents stating it was up to them whether to send their kids to school.  Steinbarth says additional police officers are at the school and the threat is under investigation.

3-5-18 attempted armed robbery of fdl convenience store

Fond du Lac police are investigating an attempted robbery at the O’Connor Quik Mart on Fond du Lac Avenue.    Shortly before 7:30pm Friday police say an employee reported a man wearing blue latex rubber gloves and a coat covering his face entered the store and demanded money.  There was no weapon displayed.  He left the store without any money.  The suspect is described as five feet seven inches tall.  Police […]

(AP) — Wisconsin dentists say some patients have a hard time getting treatment because the state hasn't given the industry the same funding when compared to other health services.   A four-county pilot program launched in 2016 that gave some dentists in the state higher Medicaid rates. 3-5-18 hustisford man likely to spend the rest of his life in prison for child sex assault

A Hustisford Man is likely to spend the rest of his life in prison for  the sexual assault of a child.  Fifty three year old Steven Baran  was sentenced in Dodge County Court Friday to 35 years in prison for repeatedly sexually assaulting a child.   In addition, Judge Steven G.
