The Waupun School district administrator is stepping down.  Dr. Tonya Olson is resigning to accept a principal position at Belleville Elementary School.  In her resignation letter, Olson said the new position will allow her to spend more time with her family.   During her time as  superintendent  Dr. Olson helped lead the District through the approval and construction for a $36 million building referendum.  “The Waupun Area School District has been […]

Shortly before midnight firefighters were called to 297 Maple Avenue where the fire was contained to the garage, but not before substantial damage occurred.  Nobody was injured.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery at a Lomira bank.  Sheriff Dale Schmidt says the robbery happened shortly before 3pm Monday at the BMO Harris Bank on East Main Street in  Lomira.  Schmidt says a man wearing a red hooded coat, blue jeans and sunglasses entered the bank and demanded money from the tellers.   No weapon was displayed.  The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin Senate plans to take up a bill next week that would change election law after a judge ordered Gov. Longtime Fond du Lac School District Health and Safety Coordinator Marian Sheridan has announced her retirement.   Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says Sheridan will retire at the end of the year after 18 years of service in the school district.  Before accepting a job in the school district Sheridan was a Fond du Lac County Public Health nurse.
