3-27-18 fdl garage fire

Photos: courtesy of fdl fire and rescue An electrical problem is apparently the cause of a fire that damaged a garage in Fond du Lac last night. Shortly before midnight firefighters were called to 297 Maple Avenue where the fire was contained to the garage, but not before substantial damage occurred.  Nobody was injured.

3-27-18 three people treated for smoke inhalation following fdl apartment fire

3-27-18 lomira bank robbery

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery at a Lomira bank.  Sheriff Dale Schmidt says the robbery happened shortly before 3pm Monday at the BMO Harris Bank on East Main Street in  Lomira.  Schmidt says a man wearing a red hooded coat, blue jeans and sunglasses entered the bank and demanded money from the tellers.   No weapon was displayed.  The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount […]

KAUKAUNA, Wis. (AP) — Gov. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin Senate plans to take up a bill next week that would change election law after a judge ordered Gov. 3-27-18 longtime fdl school district administrator retiring

Longtime Fond du Lac School District Health and Safety Coordinator Marian Sheridan has announced her retirement.   Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says Sheridan will retire at the end of the year after 18 years of service in the school district.  Before accepting a job in the school district Sheridan was a Fond du Lac County Public Health nurse.
