The Bank of Oakfield has announced that effective this week it has changed its name to Bristol Morgan Bank. Bank president Ryan Kamphuis says the new name serves as a reminder of the ties it has back to the establishment of the Bank in 1901. “This name looks back at our history. These were three gentlemen that started Bank of Oakfield, were pioneers in the Oakfield community,” Kamphuis told WFDL news. Kamphuis says the bank remains independent and local, but the name change reflects the Bank’s commitment to delivering enhanced financial services for the communities it serves. Meanwhile Kamphuis says the bank plans to open its first branch office in Fond du Lac on the east frontage road this July. The bank purchased the building from the Fond du lac Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.
