Anne Abel (right), a current Driver’s Education instructor and former teacher in the Fond du Lac School District, was recently recognized by the Wisconsin Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association (WDTSEA) as the Driver Education Teacher of the Year. Goodrich High School, Fond du Lac was one of the first high schools in the state to offer driver education, and Anne was the first female instructor for Fond du Lac.
