4-15-18 memorial service for peg lautenschlager sunday

Governor Scott Walker has ordered flags to half-staff on Sunday in honor of former Wisconsin attorney general  Peg Lautenschlager.  Lautenschlager died last month at her home in Fond du Lac after a long battle with cancer.  She was 62.  A public memorial will be held from 1-4pm Sunday at the Whispering Springs Golf Course in Fond du Lac.  Friends and fellow politicians are remembering  Lautenschlager as someone who was passionate […]

4-15-18 fdl apartment fire

Nobody was injured in a Fond du lac apartment fire.  Firefighters were called to 844 Security Drive late Friday afternoon for a fire in a second floor apartment.  The fire in a bathroom closet was quickly extinguished.  The apartment manager was alerted by a smoke alarm.  All residents safely evacuated the building and no injuries were reported.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.   photos: fdl fire and […]
