Fond du Lac police say it appears that reports of possible gunshots heard by residents on the city’s southside early Monday morning were actually fireworks.  Assistant police chief Steve Klein was one of the first people to call police. 4-9-18 fatal apartment fire in beaver dam

BEAVER DAM, Wis. No homes were damaged and nobody was injured following an out of control marsh fire in Dodge County.  The Beaver Darm Fire Department and six other area departments responded Sunday to the Randy Hupf home on Wren Road to find strong winds fueling the fire through a nearby marsh. 4-9-18 sabish middle school principal stepping down

The Fond du Lac Sabish Middle School principal is stepping down.  Torrie Rochon-Luft is resigning  her position at the end  of the school year.  She is leaving after six years to accept a principal position in the Hortonville School  District.   The school board is expected to approve the resignation at their meeting Monday night.
