The Fond du Lac police department has a new tool to help fight crime and protect the community. The Fond du lac County Clerk says voter turnout locally was higher than the statewide turnout in this week's spring election.  Clerk Lisa Freiberg says 15,519 people cast ballot Tuesday, a 29 percent voter turnout.  The statewide turnout was 22 percent.

KIEL, Wis.
