MILWAUKEE (AP) — A federal indictment in Milwaukee alleges two men used fake construction companies to steal more than $200 million in government-funded contracts meant for businesses run by disabled veterans and disadvantaged individuals. A spring storm will make for slushy travel conditions Tuesday. National Weather Service meteorologist Sean Miller says a winter weather advisory is in effect for our listening area including Fond du Lac and Dodge counties from 10am Tuesday until 7am Wednesday. Miller says you can expect 1-2 inches of snow and gusty winds on Tuesday. Miller says another 2-4 inches of snow is forecast Tuesday night.
A Fox Lake woman is going to prison for covering up the murder of her son's girlfriend. Sixty five year old Marjorie Jones was sentenced to six years in prison and ten years of extended supervision Friday.
