A Waupun man convicted of sexually assaulting a three year old boy has been found dead in his prison cell. Sources told WFDL news 28 year old Robert Moungey was found hanging in his cell at Green Bay Correctional Institution. A state Department of Corrections spokesman says an internal investigation has begun but did not confirm the cause of death. Moungey was serving a 31 year prison sentence for sexual assault of a child. Police say Moungey was accused of tying his son to a bed and taking pictures of his girlfriend, Cassandra Scheuers sexually assaulting the boy. Scheuers received a five year prison sentence.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
