The Fond du lac School District is beginning the process of selling a major building referendum to the public. The school district has scheduled a series of Walk and Talk tours of school buildings starting Tuesday at Lakeshore Elementary school starting at noon and Fond du Lac High school at 1:15pm. Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says the upgrades would include building security and other improvements like roofs and windows. “We just want to get people in the schools to see some of the great things that are happening and the state of the facilities,” Sebert said. The school board voted in December to place two questions on the April ballot. The first question asks voters for permission to spend up to $91.5 million to pay for building upgrades. The second question would allow the district to spend up to seven million dollars to provide air conditioning at school buildings that currently do not have air conditioning.
