Another winter storm moving into Wisconsin is expected to dump several inches of heavy, wet snow in our listening area. A winter storm warning is in effort for southern Wisconsin including Fond du Lac and Dodge counties from 9am Tuesday until noon Wednesday. National Weather Service meteorologist Aidin Kuroski says snow is expected to fall starting Tuesday afternoon with the heaviest snowfall in Fond du Lac and Dodge counties expected Tuesday evening with 6-8 inches of snow possible. Meanwhile, Kuroski says after a break in the below zero overnight temps over the weekend, Wisconsin will go back into the deep freeze this coming weekend.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
