The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a Huber inmate who failed to return to the jail after his preapproved shift at work. The inmate is Paul Digangi Jr. Digangi has active arrest warrants through Dodge County, Waukesha County, and the Department of Corrections. His last known address is 516 E. Main Street, Watertown, and has been known to frequent an address on Dakota Street in Watertown, WI. Digangi was serving a 360 day Huber sentence at the Dodge County Jail for domestic abuse related intimidation of a victim. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
